Rules of the Dojang






  1. Students who constantly disrupt (making noises, talking, humming etc.) will be asked to sit out.
  2. Any student who physically bangs/hits/ or causes any other uncalled for physical contact (that is not accidental) will be given a warning and if they do not adhere to the warning will not be allowed to continue to participate in this activity.
  3. Any foul language, aggressive or cheeky back chat will not be tolerated.
  4. Students should be respectful to each other at all times. Bullying (Unacceptable physical contact such as pushing/shoving, excessive contact in sparring activities or verbal intimidation) of any sort will not be tolerated. Warnings will be given and if there is no adherence to the warnings, it will result in expulsion of the student from the school for a period of time or permanently depending on the seriousness of an offence.

  • Bow to show respect to your fellow students and instructors upon entering and leaving the training hall (Dojang).
  • Always wear a clean uniform (Dobok and belt) during training in order to maintain the atmosphere of discipline in the club.
  • Finger and toenails must be kept clean and clipped.
  • Eating and drinking (except at water breaks), are not permitted in the Dojang. Only water is permitted in the Dojang so always bring a bottle of water to training.
  • Do not chew gum, or have any form of food in your mouth whilst training as this can cause choking.
  • For your safety and that of others, remove all sharp jewelry, watches etc.
  • What is practised in the Dojang should not be misused elsewhere. Any student found practising Taekwon-Do on other people or pets will be expelled from the school
  • Inform the instructor if you have any injury, feel unwell or if you are under any medication.
